New Bible Study

Over the past couple weeks I’ve been contemplating the idea of starting a men’s Bible study, but wasn’t sure I was ready for it. It’s

one thing to tackle this project in English but another to go at it in French. After some debate, thought, and prayer, I decided to go ahead with it. I talked to a couple guys from Lama Fin where I go to church and they seemed

really excited about the idea. In fact, before we even started, one guy asked if we could increase the study from one session a week--at around an hour and a half--to two sessions. I told him we should wait a couple weeks and see how things go. In all reality, I wanted to see if I could handle once a week before taking on the responsibility of twice a week.

This past Monday we met for our second time and it went great. We’re working on the ten major doctrines of the Bible, and the guys seem to be enjoying the course work.

I’m so very thankful that the Lord has given me sufficient abilities in French to finally start teaching. It has been a real blessing.
